OWH Rebel VCMP Challenge 2 - A Kid's Card Using a Sketch

Paula is hosting OWH Rebel VCMP Challenge 2 - A Kid's Card Using a Sketch at her blog Handmade by Paula.  I decided to make a card suitable for a teen using OWH Bonus Sketch 1.

  • Digi from Dustin Pike's Doodle Dragon Studios colored in PSE
  • Papers from American Crafts 6x6 pad Shoreline

  1. This turned out super Lee Mae. The surfboard paper is great with this fun surfer dude. What a talent that Dustin Pike has for creating such fun, colorful characters. I've never seen this image before but it's just perfect for teen boys. Thanks for joining in on my challenge for the VCMP!

  2. Perfect card for a teen. Love the bright colors and that dragon is adorable. Those papers worked so well with that sketch. Great job!

  3. Love!! It's hard to find cool cards for boys, but everything about this so works. Some boy is going to be so happy! Great job!

  4. And another fun card you've made! :) All those bright colors are awesome and the coloring on your little dragon dude and his surf board is perfect!

  5. So cute, just the right "tude"for a teen!
