OWH Midweek Throwdown Challenge - Transportation

I know that for most people, viewing a skateboard as a mode of transportation doesn't come readily to mind.  In our town, however, I frequently see young men using their skateboards to get around.  So when this week's Operation Write Home's Midweek Throwdown Challenge was to make a general card using transportation as a theme, I decided to break out a new 12x12 sheet of designer paper and make six cards out of it.

This is what the paper looks like:
And here are the six cards I made.  I'm including all six even though there are 2 of each skater and they are almost identical.

  • Image stamps from Impression Obsession stamped with Versafine Ink and filled in with a Copic marker
  • Sentiment Totally RAD from Verve
  • Sentiment  u r  and arrow from my stash - arrow filled in with a Copic marker
  • Crate Paper School Spirit - Geometry

  1. What a great use of that paper and image together! Perfect!

  2. I never would've known what to do with that paper... it looks AWESOME cut up with the skater image!! Way to go!

  3. That paper is PERFECT for this image. What a great card for a pre-teen or teenage fella.

  4. Look at you skating by with all these outstanding cards. You worked miracles with that 12 x 12 paper. Great job.

  5. WOW! Great use of one 12x12! These cards are Rad, colorful, simple, and bold all at once. Nice Job :)

  6. These cards are the perfect combo of paper and image. Talk about making the most of one piece of paper! And I love your take on "transportation"!!
