I love Fairydoodler's bears. This is Miss TeddyBea. I used OWH Sketch number 47 and I think my card came out pretty cute. For some reason the photo looks kind of blurry; well at least the colors are true!

I made this card for OWH for Father's Day. I left the sentiment off in case someone needed a guy card for another occassion. I am in love with this image. Mr. Cockatoo is going to be traveling around on my cards - I have several new places for him to show up in cardland! I am going to enter him in Paper Shelters Anything Goes Challenge just for the fun of it.
After blog hopping all day Saturday on the Operation Write Home Memorial Day Hop and downloading Dustin Pike's Memorial Day Sale, I went fishing for awhile. When I came back, I started going through all of the stuff I downloaded from Dustin Pike. OMG! I stayed up until 3:00 am. When I saw this alien skateboarder I knew exactly what card I wanted to make - and here it is!
I am so bursting with ideas since the blog hop and looking at images all night (and early morning) I can hardly contain myself to making one card at a time. I already have the other one started! Aagh!! One thing at a time, Lee Mae!

Of all the PcCrafter artists, I have loved Laurie Furnell's work the most. I have almost all of her artwork from there. Luckily she now resides at Aimee Asher, so I can still get her beautiful artwork. This design is borrowed from a layout in the Hero Arts catalog. I am a shameless borrower!
I made this card for OWH and sent it off to Sandy yesterday. I have been blog hopping on the OWH Memorial Day Hop and started thinking about this card since the theme on the hop is Missing You. The image is from Teresa Kogut's collection Patriotic Dreams from PcCrafter.com

I love Shelly Comiskey's artwork. This image is from her Kitten Kaboodle set from Daisy Company. I got the layout idea from Mojo Monday sketch number 107. I am in love with circles as a design element! The DP is from JoAnn's, and the embossing is from my Cuttlebug embossing folder stash.
Operation Write Home had a tutorial in April on their Stars and Stripes blog about how to make a pinwheel card. This is my take on that idea. The papers are from JoAnn's (of course, since I live there!) and the center of the pinwheel is a white brad.
I call this card Rhonda's card after my friend, Rhonda. She has taught me many things in our long friendship, and one of them was how to make the bow on this card. Thank you, Rhonda! The image is from PcCrafter.com - Rose Garden by Jane Shasky.
Once I started on coloring with my colored pencils, I couldn't stop! So, I hunted around in my digi scrapbooking supplies and found a paper background template from Rina Kroes from ScrapbookElements.com. It made a beautiful background for me to color in. The sentiment is a free digi from Create with TLC. The other fun thing about this card is I got to bling it up with rhinestones and my Pearl Pen!
I made this card from an idea posted on the Hero Arts blog about using colored pencils and kraft paper. I had this stamp from Heidi Grace - from ScrapBuck.com - and didn't think I would ever use it since I mainly use digital, pre-colored images. Once I saw the card at Hero Arts, though, I knew I could try the technique and have fun too!
